Bobbi Brown Shimmer Brick in Apricot - Quick Review

I am a Youtube addict, and I also blame Youtube for my makeup addiction. It is a vicious cycle...
Anywho, I was watching a monthly favorites video, and it featured Bobbi Brown's Shimmer Brick in Apricot. I can't say that I use highlighters a ton, but for some reason I own quite a few. For me, they're more of a special occasion item. The ones I have are great, but something about this one screamed "YOU NEED ME YESTERDAY!!!"

Fast forward to the next day, and I somehow found myself perusing the beauty counters at Macy's. And wouldn't you know it, my Bobbi Brown counter had it in stock. I swatched it on the back of my hand, and ran to the register like someone was going to rip it out of my hands if I didn't. And I'm glad I did, because I think this is a limited edition product. So go get it if you're in the market!

The packaging is really really nice. It has a nice weight to it, and I like the simplicity of the black and white. However, it is kinda large for the amount of product that is actually inside. I don't mind it, because I keep my makeup in a pretty large set of drawers, but I can see it being an issue for people with a smaller amount of space. It is also pretty expensive at $42.00. For me, it was definitely a splurge item, but as I mentioned, it is definitely more of a special occasion product, and I know it will last me forever.
Colors swatched individually
Colors all blended

NOTE:  If you have a fair-light skin tone, this will work more as a highlighting blush for you due to the deeper apricot tones. Personally, I can probably only wear this in the spring and summer when I have a tan, as a highlight.
